The 1:1 Mentorship Program provides personalized guidance, structure, and flexibility for learners of all experience levels to turn their ideas into passion projects. Whether you are a caretaker in charge of family finances, a student conducting market research, or someone whose making a career shift into a more technical industry, we are happy to help you bring your project to life.
We keep you accountable through every step from creating ideas to iterating on projects. You will acquire skills to extract insights from large datasets, use them to craft solutions for your project idea, and then wrap them into a tangible final product of your choice. A final product can be a journal article paper, a program to manage personal finance, an app in App Store, a technical feature for business software, and many more. We take whatever ideas you pitch at us, so be as creative as you can!
How Does It Work?
1. Consultative Call
Hop on a free call with us to discuss the ideas or details of your passion project. This is a 30-minute info session to see if you are a good fit. In this session, we will discuss considerations like the topic, cadence, and budget of your project, as well as program expectations.
2. Match with a Mentor
If you are a good fit for the program, you will receive an intake form where you can specify the topic, interest, and goal of your proposed project. After that, one of our in-house mentors will be assigned to you to discuss and plan the mentorship sessions.
3. Begin Your Mentorship Journey
Your mentor will work directly with you through a series of 10 one-on-one sessions. The initial 3 sessions will be focused on brainstorming and gathering resources, followed by 5 sessions dedicated to developing and backtesting your solution and concluding with 2 sessions dedicated to fine-tuning and packaging your final product.

Our program is always open, and we welcome new mentees on a rolling basis.

I am a complete beginner in data science and finance, is the 1:1 Mentorship Program suitable for me?
We don’t require anything besides an interest in data science and finance. In fact, we have many beginners who join with no programming or market experience at all, and we are able to equip them with the basics as they progress throughout their projects.
How are mentees considered to be a good fit for the 1:1 Mentorship Program?
We consider potential mentees based on their individual background, which includes:
- Interest
- Purpose
- Expectation
We also consider potential mentees based on nature of the proposed project, including its:
- Scope
- Viability
- Timeline
I don’t have an exact project in mind, can I join the 1:1 Mentorship Program?
It is not necessary to have a specific project idea in mind for you to join the program. However, it is crucial to have a general direct about what you want to accomplish in throughout the mentorship before you enroll..
In the first session, our mentors give the mentees exposure to different real-life problems and an opportunity for them to decide what specific projects excite them the most. Once students have their broad project idea, they’ll work with their mentors to narrow down the project scope further.

Are there any types of projects that you don’t support?
As long as the project is data-driven and finance-related, it is unlikely that our team will turn down a project idea, so we encourage you to think outside the box and unleash your creativity in proposing project ideas.
Is it possible to take your courses in a live one-on-one format?
If you want to learn our courses in a live one-on-one setting from our in-house instructors, this is also an option we offer. Our course curriculum will be customized and designed to meet your unique learning needs. In the process, you will learn directly from our team of experts with exclusive support and immediate feedback to help you accelerate your growth and success.

Are mentorship materials available after the program?
Yes, you will have access to all mentorship materials indefinitely. This include meeting minutes, project feedback, source code, and more.
Can I communicate with my mentor in between sessions?
Absolutely! In fact, we highly encourage you to maintain communication and collaboration with your mentor. Feel free to email your mentor, share resources, and engage in discussions between sessions to stay connected and maximize your mentorship experience.
How much time can a mentee expect to spend on the project outside of the session time?
It depends on the complexity and scale of the mentee’s project. Smaller projects, such as developing a household budgeting spreadsheet, typically require around 5 hours of weekly effort, while larger projects like building a website scraper may involve up to 20 hours of work per week.
This is just a rough guide, and we understand that there can be unforeseeable circumstances that can affect project commitment.
How do I enroll in the 1:1 Mentorship Program?
Potential mentees must book a consultative call with us before receiving a link to enroll in the program.
What is the due date for payment?
Please submit your payment no later than 7 days before your first mentorship session. Please also note that enrollments are on a rolling basis and spots are limited.
Can I pay in installments?
We apologize but this option is not available at this moment.
What is the refund policy for the 1:1 Mentorship Program?
If a mentee wishes to withdraw from the program, they must reach out to support@ariesprofits.com with their request to withdraw. The Aries Profits™ refund policy for the 1:1 Mentorship Program is outlined below:
- If you have paid and not had your 1st session, you are eligible for refund of up to 100%.
- If you have paid and met for session 1, 2, or 3, you are eligible for refund of up to 75%.
- If you have paid and met for session 4 or 5, you are eligible for refund of up to 50%.
- If you have paid and have met for more than 5 sessions, you are INELIGIBLE for refund.
*The success of your project depends on your own dedication and time commitment as a mentee. Aries Profits™ cannot guarantee specific project outcomes or offer refunds if projects are not completed within the program duration.
