Quantitative Stock Trading Course Part 1: Quartz Trader™

Learn How to Make Consistent Profits By Analyzing Stock Market Data…Even If You Have No Prior Experience

Dear aspiring trader, is this something you've experienced?

I am new to stock trading. I searched all over the internet hoping to piece together a trading plan but was confused by the jargon and techniques.

Despite subscribing to newsletters, seminars, or software to guide my trades, I am still seeing red in my account. I don’t know what I’m missing.

I spent so much effort analyzing the market but still ended up with bad trades. I did everything I could. I’m not sure how to improve from here.

I want to sharpen my quantitative skills to break into the financial profession. I pieced together a good resume but all I got were rejections.

If these are something that you’re experiencing, take heart, you are not alone. In fact, professional trader John Lee has gone through the same phases – he once devoted hundreds of hours studying the market and spent thousands of dollars on advanced toolings but still lost 50% of his capital in his trades. This was until he discovered the crucial components of stock trading, which combines quantitative methods and qualitative judgments. 7 years later, he has multiplied his trading capital by more than 10 times what he started with.

So, the best part? Whether you trade as a hobby, as a side hustle, or as a job, you can now learn the exact strategies that John Lee and his students use to maintain consistent profits month after month.

Introducing...

Course Overview

Quartz Trader™ is an 18-hour course that aims to uncover the technical components necessary for traders to profit in the stock market, regardless of their current experience level. This includes deep-dive lessons on achieving a statistical edge in trading, dissecting price microstructure, practicing order workflows, and more.

The goal of this course is to democratize financial knowledge and boost people’s confidence in applying technology to help make better trading decisions. This a particularly important step for traders to profit consistently from the stock market because it opens a gateway for theories and data to speak to each other, which is vital for detecting warnings or generating opportunities in trading.

That’s why the course features proprietary algorithms that are used to form and analyze components for swing trading, which can also be applied to trading in any other time frame. So whether you are trading on an intra-day basis or investing long-term, the same algorithms can be used to help inform you about the market. It makes new content easier to understand, while simultaneously refreshing old concepts. John stands out from other teachers in his ability to teach online. "One thing I really like about Mr. Lee's teaching is the way that he teaches a concept and then has us discuss questions in breakout rooms to encourage us to test our understanding. This inspires me to work with peers who are also working towards the same goal."

"My favorite aspect of Mr. Lee's teaching was his evident passion and dedication for finance. Every class was well-structured and organized, and I could tell that Mr. Lee put a lot of thought behind all the key concepts and ideas he was teaching us. Although I came into the class already relatively advanced in programming, this class allowed me to explore my interests in quantitative finance applications and demonstrated the various tools necessary to make accurate and well-informed decisions in the stock market. I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to have taken this class, and I would highly recommend it for anyone who is curious about using data science to better understand complex economic trends!"

Course FAQ

I am a complete beginner who knows nothing about the stock market or programming. Is this course suitable for me?

Yes, this course is suitable for both beginners and existing traders. Specifically, the course covers the basic building blocks that are going to set you up for your trading strategy designs.

At the beginning of the course, John will provide a fundamental lesson about the science of profiting from the market and an in-depth tutorial on the use cases in Python. After that, he will illustrate how the two communicate with each other to form signals from the market data. Lastly, he will illustrate how to use these signals to form and execute high-probability-winning trades.

Each video lesson is designed to be easily understandable, ensuring effortless learning. Plus, with unlimited access, you have the flexibility to revisit the videos whenever necessary.

Must I complete the Quantitative Stock Trading Course Part 1: Quartz Trader™ before learning materials in the Quantitative Stock Trading Course Part 2: Citrine Trader™?

Yes, the Part 1: Quartz Trader™ course is the pre-requisite for the Part 2: Citrine Trader™ course. Part 1 covers all the essential components that every trader must know to be consistently profitable. These include understanding technical analysis, stock selection rules, position sizing, trade execution, and more. Without such knowledge, it will not be possible for traders to grasp the workings of the market.

Part 2 of the course introduces strategies that are built upon the topics taught in Part 1, so it is important for every trader to fully grasp Part 1 concepts before moving on to Part 2, even if they have prior experience in trading.

Can the techniques taught in this course be applied to other asset types?

While the systems we built in this course work particularly well for U.S. domestic stocks, they can also be applied to trading bonds, commodities, cryptocurrencies, and any alternative assets from the international markets.

The tools from this course can also be employed to analyze goods and services that possess similar value structures as the assets listed above. These can range from plane ticket prices to real estate property appraisals.

How much money do I need in order to start trading?

A capital amount between US$2500 and US$5000 is a great place to start for a beginner. Such a range allows you to multiply your profits quickly from winning trades and provides a cushion for your losses from losing trades. This range also allows for access to a wider range of markets and capacity for portfolio diversification.

What are the DO’s and DON’Ts that you would advice to students who are or will be taking the course?

Regardless of whether you’re considered a conservative or aggressive trader, DO start trading with a small capital; and as you see results, you may grow your trading capital. This will help you build confidence as you grow your skills. In addition, DO your trade and psychological journaling on a regular basis. Although this is a procedure that’s taught in Part 2 of the course, it is still recommended for traders to do a miniature reflection to note down their thoughts after they pick up a concept from Part 1.

After learning about the building blocks of a trading strategy, DO NOT rush to apply those strategies in the real market; instead, go pilot the strategy in Paper Trading mode for at least two weeks before leveraging your own capital. Next, DO NOT be in a hurry to modify the strategy that you’ve just picked up; it usually takes months or even years for one to understand a strategy enough to apply it properly.

After completing all the video lessons in this course, will I still get any support?

Yes, our email support will be on standby whenever you need clarification or answers to anything crucial, even after you have completed the course.

In the near future, you will be added to a group chat, which is essentially a learning community formed by students who also took the Quantitative Stock Trading Course Part 1: Quartz Trader™. There you can share your trading or programming ideas, and also raise relevant questions or concerns you have. The goal of this community is to fill in the knowledge gaps that weren’t 100% covered in the course itself.

Can I get any further discounts?

The course fee you see on this page is already heavily discounted to make the course affordable for all traders worldwide. Once you enroll in our course, you gain unlimited access to its materials as well as future content updates with no additional fee. What’s more, is that the course comes with proprietary algorithms that have never been disclosed before in the market (worth US$1000+), which can substantially boost your chances of setting up winning trades. Don’t miss out on this exceptional opportunity for exceptional value!
